Autumn has always been my favorite season. The end of muggy nights and blazingly bright days. The worlds cools and softens. The nights grow longer. Heavier clothes become bearable. The first hints of fall are welcome but when the world transforms into fluttering colors and every step is a concerto of crunches, then I am truly in bliss.

Since there is an old riddle of mine running around my head, I figured I'd toss it out to you guys. Yes I know the pentameter is off but as I said it's very very hot... and I hate the heat. ( I want winter back).
I have no thumbs, my fingers all wrong
My head is huge, since my body is gone
I spit to run and can stop with a bite
If I must escape, will summon the night
